Autodesk 2006 Retirement 3/13/09

Autodesk 2006 Product Retirement Slated for March 13

Autodesk will stop selling upgrades and crossgrades from the software products listed below after March 13, 2009. That means upgrade pricing will no longer be available and Autodesk will no longer provide technical support, except for existing maintenance patches that are downloadable from www.autodesk.com.

AutoCAD/ADT users: I know the economic situation makes it difficult to upgrade your software, but AutoCAD doubles in price to upgrade after 3/14 via Legacy. Try to crossgrade to AutoCAD Revit Architecture Suite before then. The pipeline is starting to dribble again.

* Revit Architecture 8.X
* Revit Structure 3
* Revit MEP 1
* AutoCAD® 2006
* AutoCAD LT® 2006
* Autodesk® Raster Design 2006
* Autodesk® Architectural Desktop 2006
* Autodesk Map® 2006
* Autodesk® Land Desktop 2006
* Autodesk® Civil Design 2006
* Autodesk® Survey 2006
* AutoCAD® Mechanical 2006
* Autodesk® Electrical 2006
* Autodesk® Inventor® Series 10
* Autodesk® VIZ 2006
* Autodesk® 3ds Max® 8

After the product retirement date, the Autodesk Legacy Program will help assist customers who own valid licenses of select retired Autodesk software with the opportunity to purchase specially discounted new licenses of the latest Autodesk software release. Please remember, AutoCAD LT® software is not eligible for the Autodesk Legacy Program.
