click to download IES lighting data
IES files are photometric data files associated with lighting fixtures. They are used to accurately model how light is cast and rendered from a given fixture.

Revit requires that all IES files associated with a model are located in the same place. The proper locations to download and save the files to are:

Revit Architecture 2009:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\RAC 2009\IES
Solatube Tubing

Revit requires that all IES files associated with a model are located in the same place. The proper locations to download and save the files to are:

Revit MEP 2008:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\RME 2008\IES

Revit Architecture 2009:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\RAC 2009\IES

NOTE: The secondary files - DWG, DWF, DXF, and DGN are all CAD Files and you will need AutoCAD or Bentley to open and view these. The DWF file is a protected 3D version of the Revit file, which some refer to as a 3D pdf file.
