Revit Architecture 2010 now shows up in Subscription Center

Revit Architecture 2010 just showed up in my subscription center portal.
Hopefully, you all can see it and download it immediately. I'm thinking of doing a live webcast on Friday and can show the first 25 attendees anything you want to see in the program. Email me if interested. 4PM EST sound good to you?

On another topic, something I found annoying about the ribbon toolbar in 2010. Well, today I was doing something in Revit Arch 2009 and as I was looking at that bar on the left. You know, the one that when you click on a menu topic, there are a bunch of icon menu choices. Kind of looked like, I don't know, A RIBBON!. Revit's had a ribbon toolbar all along. It was just on the left hand side and vertical.

Toto, we've been home all along.

I use Revit Structure and that is on my subscription centre too, although for some reason they have now changed the date available from the 29th of March when I logged in after I saw your blog to the 19th of Febuary when I log in now. Very bizzare, I'm going to wait for Autodesk to give the offical word out before I download in case they are still working things through! Love the website by the way, even though it's mostly Architectural driven stuff;-)

Ribbon? No, no its a Design Bar. Its completely different! You see its a bar...I like bars. THey have beer in bars, not ribbons.

(a testament to all those ribbon bashers who have yet to put out a project with it)

It is strange... I see Revit 2010 in the subscription site also but it has my date availible as Jan 30, 2009 and not April 7th like you but it was not there until today.

You say tomato, I say I love the new ribbon and I got used to it so quickly. Plus, you can dock your favorite commands on the top bar. Couldn't do that with a design bar.

Beer? Bars? Girls go to bars. Girls put pretty ribbons in their hair. Drink lots of beer and every girl in the bar looks pretty. Ah. Drink lots of beer when using Revit 2010 and the ribbon will look pretty to you. Drunk green beer and your projects will get extra LEED points (or pints if you're at a design bar in England).

Mental note. Don't respond to blog comments 30 seconds after waking up.

Gregory,

I actually REALLY like and follow your logic about the bars, beer, ribbos and girls, ecspecially LEED pints.

Well... after I downloaded it they appear to have taken it down again. Weird happenings down in Autodesk world.

It looks like the Suite and non-Suite do not have separate installs. Is that correct?
