Autodesk Navisworks - Supported File Formats and Applications

Here's a little something I was researching for my upcoming class at Autodesk University on BIM for Bidders.

Since, for some crazy reason, the entire AEC world is not using Revit, there are a few other products and file formats that can be used with Navisworks.  Peaceful coexistence?  Please note that 2D CAD is not on the list.

Autodesk® Navisworks® applications support multiple file formats created by numerous design applications. Supported applications include popular Autodesk products such as the AutoCAD®, Revit®, and Autodesk® 3ds Max® families of products, plus many widely used industry CAD, BIM, and digital prototyping solutions.
