Revit Tech Tip - Using Extended Characters in a Keyboard Shortcut

Published date: 2009-Nov-05
ID: TS14114812

Applies to:
Autodesk® Revit® Architecture 2010
Autodesk® Revit® MEP 2010
Autodesk® Revit® Structure 2010

Issue

You would like to use Extended Characters when creating a new keyboard shortcut using the user interface in the Revit 2010 Subscription Advantage Pack.

Solution

In order to use a Keyboard shortcut with Extended Characters, you will need to reassign the shortcut on every session of Revit.

Shortcuts using Extended Characters will not be remembered the next time Revit is run. To avoid this problem, do not use Extended Characters in Keyboard Shortcuts.
