Revit Architecture Tech Support - Missing rotation symbol

Collaborate Tab? Worksets? Geez! Wouldn't that require you to be getting your structural and MEP engineers to use Revit? Someday we'll all look back on lonely BIM and wonder why we didn't get the entire design and engineering team on board with Revit.

Applies to:
Autodesk® Revit® Architecture 2010
Autodesk® Revit® MEP 2010
Autodesk® Revit® Structure 2010

You have selected an element and activated the Rotate tool, but the blue rotation symbol does not display.

This will happen if the Active Workset is turned off in the view. To resolve the issue, you can do either of the following:

  • On the Collaborate tab > Worksets panel, switch the Active Workset to a workset that is visible in the view.
  • In the View tab > Visibility/Graphics dialog > Worksets tab, turn on the display of the Active Workset in the view.
