US Content Extension for AutoCAD MEP 2010

This is for Autodesk Revit/ACAD MEP subscription customers only. You can bring in AutoCAD content into Revit so this may help the Revit engineers and contractors. We still need lots more Revit content so anyone who knows of a manufacturer not making Revit content, let me know and we will help make it a priority for them. We're working on some large manufacturer content creation projects now so we're here to make your life easier.

Release Date: 2009-12-01

The US Content Extension for AutoCAD® MEP 2010 software provides over 300 new pipe fittings to help mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) professionals create pipe design models and drawings for projects in the United States. Contents include:

  • Cast Iron (Bell and Spigot, Hubless)
  • Ductile Iron (Flanged, Mechanical Joint, Push On)
  • HDPE (Fusion)
  • Plastic (Hub)
  • Steel (Grooved)

Content is currently available in English only.

So, a silly question...
What do you mean when you say "can bring AutoCAD Content into Revit"?

Do you mean bring it into a family template and make a family that way? Or do you mean as a DWG Import? Or do you know some other cool trick?
