The video that will change your life - Visualization Inspiration by Alex Roman aka Jorge Seva

I don't even know where to begin with this one.  I think I've been too awed by the work of art below to even contemplate making this or any more blog post this year.

The movie below is from a young man who quit his job for a vision. He spent two years creating this work of art.  It was created with 3ds Max and finished with Adobe AfterEffects.  This completely changes the art of architectural visualization.  For any of who are rendering or animation artists, you may not want to view this as it will depress you for weeks.

I had 12 different posts to start off the new year and I figured I'd set the bar at the heavens to inspire each and every one of you.  Sometimes during the daily grind, we forget about the world of buildings as art.  Light, shadow, color, texture, placement are all important in our buildings.  How do you maintain your artistic integrity when pulled in so many directions of time, cost, budgets, codes, requirements, materials, locations, clients, consultants and even what technology you use.

Welcome to 2010.  I'm not sure where my digital and physical journeys will take me this year, but I'm happy you'll be joining me.  To the architects who's buildings were recreated in the video below and to those of you who strive to equal them, thank you for your artistic vision.

Note: You must watch the videos in full screen and with audio.
