Moving a set of views from one sheet to another - Revit

http://revitize.blogspot.com/2010/03/moving-set-of-views-from-one-sheet-to.html

Revit does not allow the same DWG view to be placed in more than one sheet. For this reason, when we want to move a set of views from one sheet to another, it does not let copy or cut and paste. It gives a “multiple instances of the same view in sheets not supported!”

One way to move the views, is to open the sheets category in the project browser

and just drag and drop the views to another sheet in the project browser or in the DWG area.

yes—that's yet another mindless feature of Revit—one alternative is just to duplicate with detailing each view you want to move/copy to another sheet. the problem with either way, is that you can't paste > same position, as in the previous sheet. especially annoying if you have a lot of views to paste.

when is Autodesk going to wake up and accept the fact that software 'architects' have less-than-zero idea about 'real-world' architecture?!?
