There are a number of approaches to filter a door from your door schedule. I have included few of these below…
Schedule Properties > Filter
Without customizing anything, you can select from any of the available parameter fields to remove door[s] based on specific requirements under Schedule Properties > Filter:
Schedule Properties > Filter > Project \ Shared Parameter or Calculated Value
Alternatively you can further refine which individual doors appear in the schedule through parameters or a calculated value column:
Project or Shared Parameter Example:
Add a Manage > Project Parameters > Doors > Yes/No Parameter [in this example we will call it AppearInSchedule]. Then add the filter in the schedule view, for AppearInSchedule equals Yes. In this example each door instance would appear in the schedule unless you un-checked the box. Alternatively you could reverse it, as you may only need to exclude a few doors. MakeAppearInSchedule a hidden field under Formatting > Field Formatting, if needed.
Calculated Value Example:
You can use a Calculated Value column as well, should you wish to use a formula or combine several parameters. For example, say you need more than 4 Filter bylines.
In the below example, the default Height & Width parameters are multiplied to create an Opening Area Calculated Value Parameter; then this 1 Calculated Value Parameter is filtered in the schedule:
Width * Height
Place in a Group > Exclude Door from Group Instance
When a door resides in a model group, tab-selecting the door and selectingGroup Member. Click icon to exclude in this group instance will also remove the door from the schedule. To put it back [and display the door both graphically and in the schedule] simply tab-select the ghosted door which appears when you hover over the group instance > Restore excluded group member to group instance.
