Autodesk Services & Support - Error: 1304 or 2350 when creating a deployment

Issue

When creating a deployment, you are encounter 1304 or 2350 error.

Solution

These errors can occur when the path to the deployment is longer than 256 characters.

If the deployment path is:  \\servername\LongPath\sharename, share the folder at "sharename". 

Autodesk deployment files will be here:

\\servername\LongPath\sharename

The actual deployment created will be under the 256 character limit and the path is here:

\\servername\sharename

In this case, both paths are valid but only the shorter path will allow a deployment to be created.
