I was writing an email and typed feartures instead of features. Sine
the 3014 products should be released at the end of this month, We are
all in anticipation of what new Revit features will be released and
will they help or hurt our workflow.

I'm sure right now you have gotten over the ribbon placement change
from a couple of years ago.
As much as we want to know what all of the new features are, we won't
install Revit until the first service pack (a.k.a. the official
release not the beta) comes out.

I also always wonder how many Revit features Autodesk will stick into
AutoCAD this year. After 30 years what more could Autodesk possibly
add to AutoCAD other than an actual easy way to print documents.

As an afterthought, what about Freetures, like the Google Reader madness where Google is shutting down that free service.  We become so dependent on products, software, features, plugins and so many other technology tidbits, it really hurts when a company cancels a product or feature that you really love.  There are also the freetures of Autodesk like all of the tools that come with subscription accounts.  Yes, they're free after you pay $995/year, but they feel free because your boss pays the bill and you get to download and use them for free.

At the end of the day, I think it's all about finding the tools that help you and your team work more efficiently.  I don't care how much a program costs if it can save time and help me work easier with others.  That's real ROI, return on innovation.
