Today, Oscar was working on a storm drainage project in Revit. Oh how I wish Civil 3D was dead and Autodesk would make a Revit Civil product, but that's just a pipe dream.
Anyway, I was watching Oscar looking at the plans, then tapping away at his calculator to create the invert elevation for the manhole. I asked him why he didn't do it the easy way, so I clicked in the cell in the family parameter and typed in =13.5-8.25 and magically, 5' 3" showed up in the field.
Revit has a fantastic calculator built into it so hopefully it's something you're taking advantage of to save a few minutes every day.
