Trimble Webinar: Analyze Project Cost Histories with Modelogix

I keep getting emails from those pesky salespeople. Nonetheless, this looks cool and I do love Trimble and am glad they're doing what I thought they would and own the BIM logistics market.

All of your money should be bet on BIM logistics. No contractor gives a crap what line weights you use. Such a shame so many architects just don't get it. So glad Cindy and Adolfo do (which means I hope they send me to BIM Forum so I can become even more of a BIM visionary).

Adding Modelogix to Your Estimating Arsenal

What if you could take a magnifying-glass look at all your firm's estimates across all project types? What if you could use that magnifying glass to hone-in on material costs across multiple locations, or suppliers' on-time delivery percentages? What if you could take a closer look at cost variance rates for your preferred subs, or get a detailed unit-price analysis across all projects and apply it to the bid you're working on now?

Let us show you just how powerful Modelogix is. Join us for the next Fridays with Trimble webinar where we explore how GCs and CMs use Modelogix to harvest past-project data for new estimates and budgets. And the real kicker – it works with every construction estimating system out there...including Excel.

Modelogix, a groundbreaking software innovation in the Trimble Buildings GC/CM portfolio, empowers estimators to quickly and accurately respond to new opportunities, leveraging years of past-project data to create a real-world, early-phase budget. Then you can tap those same project cost histories (the intellectual property that each customer has trapped in their current systems) to benchmark and "sanity-check" the final estimate. It's easy to see any errors or omissions with the filtering and sorting capabilities – so estimators can sleep well at night, knowing all scope is covered and their bid is spot on.

We'll show you how to:
• Intelligently analyze your cost model in specific ways that are most
meaningful to your organization;
• Filter all your past projects, in an instant, by attributes that you select;
• Easily prepare professional-grade proposals that set you apart from
the competition;
• Use your cost model to benchmark your final detailed estimates,
identifying omissions or errors before it's too late... and more.

Caption: Contractors analyze their project cost history (and tap into their firm's intellectual property) for fast and accurate creation of early-phase budgeting and benchmarking of final estimates.

Everyone on your estimating team will want to see this, especially if you want to:
• Bid on more projects and do it faster;
• Harness the immense power of the data currently trapped in your
past projects;
• See what went wrong with past suppliers or crews to compensate
in the new bid;
• Create multiple cost models for multiple scenarios (owners love
this!);
• Create accurate cost range and variance data reports for bid day;
• Slice-and-dice the data any way you want it, with costs broken down
by CSI code within each Uniformat type -- coming right up!
